The Breendonk Fort: one of the best preserved Nazi camps in Europe. It is located in the homonymous village, about twenty miles south of Antwerp. Although small compared to other similar places, it was a real camp where Nazi barbarism was reigning without restraint.

(General Von Hammerstein - summer of 1941)
